For the past few days, many traditional elders were arriving in Garowe in order to take part in the continuing resolution of the deadlock that exists between the presidential candidates. Some of those who arriving now was not present in the ongoing meetings.
On Wednesday, a delegation led by Islaan Bashiir Islaan Abdulle arrived from Gaalkayo. The “Islaan” said that he arrived in Garowe to participate the ongoing process and preach unity.
Another delegation that was led by Sultaan Sacid also arrived from Sanaag and haylaan region.
Sultaan Said and his delegation had stopped at Qardho and had a closed door lunch meeting with “Boqor” of the Darood Community “Boqor” Burhaan Musse.
Many other delegations are also expected from Bari and Karkaar region in the coming days before the election, Boqor Burhaan is expected to be part of the traditional elders.
According to most of the news the traditional elders are in thorough meetings to discuss and resolve the misunderstandings that exist between the candidates for the controversial vetting committee.
While there are reports that the committee have been finally accepted by the opposition aspirants who said that those are not true and they have not accepted that committee yet.
The candidates are expected to submit their final decision to the traditional elders who are expected to arrive in the coming few days.
